The 21st European Symposium on Polymer Spectroscopy (ESOPS) will be held in the Uni Center of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria.
Gala Dinner
Our conference dinner will be held on Tuesday, 14th January, at the Pöstlingberg Schlössl which not only provides outstanding food, but also a fascinating view over Linz. A bus shuttle will be organised.
Travelling to and within Linz
By airplane: There is a small airport close to the city of Linz: http://www.linz-airport.com/de. Alternatively, Linz is well connected to the airport of Vienna: https://www.viennaairport.com/en/passengers.
By train: Please check the webpage of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) for national and international train connections to Linz: https://www.oebb.at/en/. If you are travelling from Salzburg or Vienna also check the offers of Westbahn: https://westbahn.at/en/.
By tram: To reach the venue from the city centre, take tram 1 or 2 going to JKU | Universität. If you are coming from the main train station, it will take about 25 minutes to get to the university. For further connections please check https://services.linzag.at/efa/index-en.jsf. The MAXI ticket is € 4.50 and valid over a period of 24 hours.
By car: For travelling to the university exit the A7 highway at Linz-Dornach and continue straight ahead. After passing three traffic lights, you will see the entrance to the university on your left. For other directions please use a route planner or get in contact with our team.
