Registration for the conference must be done via the online registration system and one of the payment methods below. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration. Registration will only be effective on receipt of the registration fee or after authorization of credit card payment. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately to gadest2021@jku.at.
The following steps are necessary to register for the conference:
1. Create a new user account via https://konferenzen.jku.at/gadest2021/user/register:
In this case you will get an e-mail with a link that leads you to a page where you can set a password.
Another option is to log in via Shibboleth (available for JKU employees).
2. Login with your username and password via https://konferenzen.jku.at/gadest2021/user/login
3. Register for the conference via "My registration" -> "Event registration"

Support for the participation of scientists from Ukraine
The GADEST committees are trying to help our five Ukrainian colleagues who sent abstracts for the GADEST conference before the war began.
Our Ukrainian colleagues mentioned that all funding from state-funded projects (e.g., to be used for participation in GADEST) was shifted to national defense needs. Therefore, we seek support to enable our colleagues to participate in the GADEST conference (travel, registration fee, accommodation). You can choose this option during the registration process. If the collected funds exceed the required amount, we will transfer the surplus to the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences account.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation must be submitted in writing to gadest2021@jku.at no later than August 24, 2022, and is subject to a € 50 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after this date. All refunds will be managed after the conference.
If you cannot attend, your registration is transferable to some other person whom you must indicate to us in your cancellation request (name, affiliation, address, email).
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations.
In case of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic or insufficient number of participants, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Conference and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part. In the case of a cancellation by the Organizer participants will be reimbursed the registration fee actually paid.
